Continue ShoppingAt the end of November, we launched a Pop-Up Shop in our Busted Knuckle Gallery space with popular social media project, #VanishingSeattle, which documents the displaced and disappearing institutions, small businesses, homes, and communities of Seattle. It also serves as a love letter to the history and cultures that gave our city its soul.
While we originally planned on concluding the Pop-Up at the end of the year, due to the tremendous popularity of the display, we've decided to extend the Pop Up through February!
Check out these highlights and drop by our Pike Place Market store to see it in person!
Over the course of the past month, the Pop-Up has drawn thousands of visitors who have come to read and share their own Seattle Places Loved and Lost at the interactive display.
Evolving into a sort of collective, patchwork love letter to Seattle, the 15' graphic display is full of heartfelt moments, treasured locations, and memorable times spent in the city.
Visitors answer the prompt, "What do you miss about Seattle?"
Whether you're a longtime Seattlelite, a recent transplant, or a visitor just stopping through, the Pop-Up is an engaging insight into the soul of the city and the people who love it.
Stop by the Busted Knuckle Gallery before the end of February to show your Seattle love and pick up exclusive Vanishing Seattle merchandise - featuring the artwork of local street artists No Touching Ground and BeSo206! (Some products will also be available at www.ngjkuque.top under the Vanishing Seattle Collection).
Revenues from the shop will support an upcoming Vanishing Seattle documentary film project.
